The French Hugenot Church Watercolor --Work-a-Day 10-26-06
This was sort of a "meet and greet" piece. It seemed like when I started painting this people started coming from across the street to see what I was doing. Some proceeded into the gallery after chatting with me. It's stimulating to be out in a "happening" city. This pushes me to work faster and more decisively--to say nothing of the brisk Autumn air. I did this piece in just over an hour.
Again, I can't say enough about the jewel-like presence of this church. I will revisit this subject matter, no doubt.
